1-2 day intensive for professionals 18 and up

Designed to brush up and stretch your skills in an open and honest forum.

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

Intensives may include following:​

​
BROADWAY SONG STUDY

Students come prepared to sing one audition song.  They will coached and then given a song to sing for the next day, in which they will perform in the showcase.



BROADWAY DANCE A - "the audition"
Students will learn audition basics for a dance call.  They will be warmed up and then enter the 'audition'.  Feedback will be given throughout the experience.

BROADWAY DANCE  B - "the performance"
Students will learn a Broadway choreographed routine in which they will showcase on the final day.



MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE
Pairing voice, dance, and acting, students will learn how to access their talents to move the story forward through music and movement.



AUDITION TECHNIQUE
Auditions are not just about getting the gig.  They are also about getting a future job.  Learn the fundamentals of a good audition.



AUDITION EVALUATION
Current professionals are invited to seek feedback on mock broadway audition.



THE BUSINESS OF THE BUSINESS 
Learn about the basics of presenting yourself.  What the industry looks for in your headshot and resume.  Also learn about agent representation, union affiliations and more.

SHOWCASE
Students will particate in a final casual showcase to present for faculty, friends, and family.
